A self-taught guitarist, vocalist, composer, and educator, Denny Ilett has worked with renowned

artists like Pee Wee Ellis, Lillian Boutté, Paul Jones, and Maceo Parker, showcasing his talent both as

a performer and musical director.

In 2013, he co-founded the Bristol Jazz and Blues Festival, bringing world-class talent to the

City, while also teaching at Bristol and Bath Spa universities.

Denny’s 16-piece Electric Lady Big Band, dedicated to Jimi Hendrix’s music, has sold out venues

like Ronnie Scott’s and performed at top UK jazz festivals.

With accolades from Guitarist magazine and a passion for big band swing, Denny continues

to inspire and shape the music world through his diverse contributions and unwavering

dedication.
