This continues the story and the music of Charlie Parker played by contemporary musicians who weren’t even born when this music first saw the light of day.

This music was all recorded during the covid outbreak during a time when audiences weren’t allowed so all these examples could be seen and heard by those who would like to have attended the Wall2Wall Festival, but weren’t allowed to – by law.

In this session, there were some Parker compositions: Barbados, Moose The Mooche, Yardbird Suite and Bloomdido. But as well as compositions from Bird, there was also music written by jazz musicians who names will be forever linked with Charlie Parker.
