Alex Goodyear is a freelance Drummer and Percussionist based in Cardiff, studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
He has assembled a highly talented Hard Bop Septet of talented young jazz musicians. The Goodyear Bop Septet explores contemporary arrangements of the Hard Bop repertoire, stretching the material in new directions.
The Band played in November at the EFG London Jazz Festival at the South Bank.
