Do you like your blues played on rudimentary instruments and hollerred as if your life depended on it?
No stranger to Black Mountain Jazz Club, Sicknote Steve recreates the authentic sound of the original hobo bluesman.
No technical trickery here -the authentic guitar playing skills and vocals of Sicknote Steve invoke the atmosphere of the Mississippi Delta as he slides and stomps his way through the evening.
To audiences in the South West and Wales, the familiar bearded figure of hobo bluesman Sicknote Steve has become synonymous with a a great session of the blues. A great favourite at many events at the Green Valley and The Acoustic Festival of Britain.
All in all, expect a great session of raw blues and bluegrass, but it’s not just about the music, you’ll get stories, anecdotes, and if you are lucky a Q and A session at half time.
