606 Club
The 606 Club has been run by musician Steve Rubie as a jazz club restaurant since 1976.  It built a reputation as ‘the jazz hang-out’ and its popularity soon led to the policy of only booking British-based musicians in order to support the local scene – which is still the case.

Dennis Rollins 
In 1995 Dennis Rollins formed his own jazz-funk band, Dee Roe.  In 2000 he again
formed a band, the Dennis Rollins’ BadBone and Co.,  again specialising in
funk-inflected jazz.  He has recorded, performed, and toured with a host of musicians
and bands in jazz and pop, including Courtney Pine and Maceo Parker,

Gilad Atzmon
A British Jazz artist and author, Gilad Atzmon is a multi-instrumentalist and plays
saxophones, clarinet and ethnic woodwind instruments.   His album Exile was the
BBC jazz album of the year in 2003. As a member of the Blockheads, Gilad has also

Nigel Price
His blend of flowing bebop lines, deep blues feeling and mastery of chording has made Nigel Price instantly accessible and popular with jazz audiences.  He spent three years with UK funk legends – the James Taylor Quartet, was placed third in the 2014 British Jazz Awards for “best guitarist” and is a regular performer at Ronnie Scott’s.

Swansea Jazzland

The Three Belles

Zoë Gilby 
As a jazz vocalist and songwriter that has been making a real impression on the jazz
scene, Zoë Gilby released “Twelve Stories” in 2013 – a powerful collection of songs
with a strong narrative. Zoë has teamed up with her husband, the innovative and
powerful double bassist Andy Champion for a voice and double bass duo.

Zoe Schwarz Blue Commotion
Zoe and her highly accomplished band have come right to the fore of the British Blues Scene, picking up a series of awards and nominations, including runner-up for Zoe in the 2014 British Blues Awards.   Their exciting live set is based around the band’s rootsy originals; featuring strong catchy riffs, interesting arrangements and exciting grooves.
